AJJIF Jujitsu Congress Scheduled for October 8th 2011
DFMA Australia are pleased to announce the upcoming All Japan Jujitsu International Federation Congress to be held in Melbourne on October 8th 2011.
The Congress will be host to distinguished guests and high ranking senior AJJIF members, President AJJIF Dai Yokoyuri Gunshi Professor Alexey Kunin, Vice President AJJIF Soke Dave Franklin, Hanshi Bruce Haynes, Soke Trevor Smith, Soke Joe Varvello, Hanshi Ron Ramadge, Shihan Manny Zhara, Shihan David Hindmarsh, along with senior government officials.
Dai Yokoyori Gunshi it is an ancient Japanese military title meaning Above Rank and Senior Adviser to Gunshi ( Military Commander of the Great Eastern Army ). The Dai Yokoyori Gunshi is authorised by Gunshi to promote any legitimate martial artist to black belt up to 10th Dan.
O-Sensei Kunin has inherited lineage from Japan that can be traced back 1200 years to the ancient Minimoto-Aizu clan, the only surviving Shogun clan in Japan. Lectures will be conducted by O-Sensei Kunin and Soke Anthony Jackson, as well as demonstrations by club leaders.
Participants will recieve detailed instruction and demonstrations from O-Sensei Alexey Kunin, and then split into training groups to practice techniques.
There will also be a special time taken for younger children to trian with O-Sensei Kunin and have their photo's taken with him.
There will be ample opportunity for photographs, and DVD's of the seminar will be available for purchase. Morning tea and lunch are included.
This seminar represents a rare oportunity for participation in one of the most important martial arts events to occur in Australia.

9:15 - 10:00 - Assemble for official announcements and brief lecture by O-Sensei Kunin
10:00 - 10:45 - O-Sensei Kunin will conduct demonstrations with groups breaking for practice
10:45 - 11:00 - Break for morning tea
11:00 - 11:15 - Official opening by the Lord Mayors Representative
11:15 - 12:00 - O-Sensei Kunin will conduct demonstrations with groups breaking for practice
